The different volunteer programs are the core of Hands on Manila. Since 2001, HOM’s unique flexibility model of volunteer service has allowed many volunteers to respond to various service projects. To date, Hands On Manila has had over 5,000 volunteers and 75 partner organizations. Partnerships with these organizations allow HOM to create a monthly calendar of activities for volunteers.
Hands On Manila also facilitates volunteer activities and special projects for groups. For companies, HOM offers its Corporate Employee Volunteer Program under which employees may volunteer as part of their company’s corporate social responsibility initiative.
Hands on Manila provides volunteer opportunities for everyone who is willing and able to do so. Orientations are usually given every last Thursday of the month for those who are interested in becoming a volunteer. Contact the HOM office and take the first step towards becoming a volunteer
